Welcome to Paperwall! This is a quick overview of what you can expect to find on this revolutionary new network.
Paperwall is a pay-for-only-what-you-read, micro-transaction system, borne out of the frustration that comes with the lock-in of monthly subscriptions. Often you’ll stumble across an intriguing article, only to find it locked behind a paid subscription - Paperwall offers an alternative to this model. Now, when you come across that article, you have the option to pay a small amount to read only that article, no commitment required! And, once you've signed up to the Paperwall network, you can read any of its articles with as few as 2 clicks.
It is still in early stages and only have a limited number of publications on the network. If you’d like to join, we are actively seeking publications and blogs to be part of the early release.
You can read articles through the exchange of tickets, each ticket being worth about $0.25, articles typically costing 1-4 tickets each. There are also discounts if you buy them in bulk, as you can see here:
Typical Article Cost = 1-4 tickets
Try it out for as little as $5, and if you don’t find anything that piques your interest, we’ll refund any unused tickets.
If you’re unhappy with an article, we have a refund policy in place where you can request a refund. We want everybody to be happy and don’t want anybody to walk away unsatisfied with their reading experience.
The goal of Paperwall is to connect publishers and readers with a flexible and sustainable way to discover and support quality content. So join now and help make this a reality.
